LET US MAKE USE OF PRESENT WORLD SITUATION AND OVERTURN THE CHINESE OPPRESSION

     After 9-11 events the new world situation has radically changed and became quite advantageous attracting the world community’s attention to the problems of Eastern Turkistan. On the other hand, present situation also provide new opportunities for the Communist China to intensify its brutal oppression of the Eastern Turkistan people........  (click here)

     2. Political attacks of the Chinese regime

     We can classify the political moves of the Chinese government in several categories:

     First. Prior to 9-11 events, the Chinese regime labeled the organizations acting equally inside and outside China as “national separatists”, then after 9-11 events they immediately nicknamed them as “Eastern Turkistan terrorists” and labeled all national organizations acting in exile as ‘terrorist” regardless the nature and character of Uyghur movements and organizations. “Eastern Turkistan terrorists” suddenly came to existence on September 10, 2001 in all Chinese media......      3.  Present global situation

     After 9-11 events the situation in the world has changed drastically. The balance of power and influence of Russia and China in Central Asia has changed, and control in this region has shifted to America and the Western countries. America and Western countries pursued not only objectives of fighting global terrorism but reaching economic domination in this region as well. ....... (click here)

     4.  Favorable Factors

     The Chairman of the National Congress Enwerjan stressed out in his report that “New world situation after 9-11 events created new problems for Uyghurs like in 1933 and 1944.” This argument has a solid basis. After 9-11 events in Homeland and in Central Asia the Uyghur national liberation movement has faced new hard times........ (click here)

     5.  Unfavorable factors

     After 9-11 events favorable conditions for Uyghurs were created. At the same time there are some negative factors, too.
Several Uyghurs fled to in Afghanistan and fought on the Taliban side; Americans recently captured them. Some Uyghurs also participated in the armed conflicts in Central Asia and were involved in cases of terrorist actions in Eastern Turkistan. This all has served a good excuse for the Communist China to oppress Uyghurs and their national struggle in general....... (click here)

     6 . What shall we do?

     When we analyze various issues described above we naturally come to a conclusion that the Uyghur movement inside and outside our homeland is facing very serious problems. The question we all should ask ourselves is what we all shall do?.... (click here)
