3) Chinese Regime Forces Uyghur Political Prisoners to ‘Repent” at Communist Tombs

According to the information gathered by the Eastern Turkistan Information Center, on April 10 the guards of the “Xinjiang 2” prison took 26 Uyghurs inmates charged of “rebellious activities” to the outskirts of Urumchi to the cemetery of the “revolutionist victims”, famous Chinese Communists Mao Zimen, Chen Tian Chu, and others. Prisoners were taken to the cemetery and were forced to “repent” publicly in their “sins” against the Communist regime. The guards made the prisoners to sweep places around the tombs as a sign of repentance. Prisoners all “sworn” to “adjust themselves to the socialist system.” These prisoners were mainly arrested over last year or tow on charges of “ethnic separatism” and “illegal religious activities” and sentenced to various terms.
