7 ) The interviews with foreign correspondents are prohibited to any local people in Kashgar |

| Recently, local Chinese
government in Kashgar was held meeting and prohibited to
any people of this region to give interview to foreign
correspondents. As we informed last week, Chinese police for writing a letter to school administration, in which he asked them to stop the political lessons, arrested Ablikim Yasin, the pupil of the secondary school No. 4 in Kashgar city, two weeks before. The correspondents of “ Radio Free Asia” radio-station through the phone calls to the secondary school No. 4 in Kashgar, Kashgar Institutions of Education and Police office proved that this is fact true. Such action of local Chinese authorities in Kashgar seems to have a link with this suddenly organized meeting. |
