7 ) Nearly thousand teenagers swore loyalty to the Party in Urumchi

Our correspondent Boghdu reports from Urumchi:

On March 30 in Urumchi at the People’s Square about 1000 teenagers were gathered from primary and secondary schools to celebrate 80-th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Youth organization. The teenagers were lined up in front of the monument to the “Peaceful liberation of Xinjiang” (in reality the reminder of the Communist Chinese occupation) and were order to give a vow of “following the path of heroes and always being loyal to the party!”

As our correspondent told us, now in all Eastern Turkistan national primary and secondary schools schoolchildren gather every morning at school squares decorated with Chinese banners and slogans to participate in the ritual of hoisting the national flag and reciting aloud slogans like ‘we shall defend the unity of Motherland!”, “we will stand against the nationalist separatists!” etc. Besides, previously all national schools had portraits, quotes and citations from poems of national Uyghur writers, poets, philosophers, intellectuals and scientists like Makhmud Kashgari, Yusup Has Hajib, Abduhaliq Uyghur, Lutfulla Mutallip and many others. These portraits and citations were torn down and replaced by political slogans like “Let us stand together against national separatists and strengthen unity of Motherland!» “Xinjiang is an inseparable part of China!” and others ideological slogans of the same nature.

All these ideological actions make people think if the “Great Cultural revolution” is coming back again?
