ETIC learned that China’s highest court announced death sentence for two Uyghur freedom fighters convicted of attacking 79 Chinese police and killing 16.

Heavy chained Qurbanjan Ablimit and Abdurahman Azat brought to the Kashgar prefecture court stadium and questioned shortly in November 11.

Qurbanjan Ablimit answered the judge’s question and said: “all we have done is to follow the God and profit’s way, to get freedom for our mother land, to get revenge from Chinese colonizers…”

Abdurahman azad said: “Chinese government has to answer for our behavior, because Chinese government has to responsible for this violence, because they forced us to do. But This was only our first plan; we had a second plan too. I am so regret that we were not succeeded enough in our plan...”

Court cut their words and did not allowed them continue to talk and take them out.

Since September 11, 2001, the Chinese government is using war on terror as an excuse to justify its oppressive regimes arbitrary crack-downs on Uyghurs everywhere. As a result Uyghur freedom fighters scattered revenge attacks increased. In August 04, 2008, Kurbanjan Ablimit and Abdurahman Azat attacked a police station in Kashgar and killed 16 policemen and injured other 16.

Court was quickly closed following the announcement of death sentence for these two freedom fighters. But it was not clear when and where would be the execution. According to our underground news reporter, people guessing in East Turkistan that Chinese government may held execution at Kurban eid( muslim festival) to get revenge from Uyghurs. .
