WE WANT TO GO HOME !

Escaping from force labor became homeless at the street was very common and lucky chance of Young Uyghur Women who forcibly transferred to inland Chinese cities for cheap and forced labor in these days in China. However, parents of these girls always receive heavy handed punishment from Chinese government officials. They were not only forced to pay 3000 Yuan penalty but also forced to report to the government if they can get any information about their daughters where abuts.

The following picture was taken by one of the young Chinese Women eye witness in December 2007 in Chengdou City. The photo shows group of young Uyghur women who were shouting slogans: “We want go home!” and raised the white flag with written slogans. Number of Gathered Chinese viewers to see those Uyghur girls that escaped from forced labor and demonstrating at Chengdou city to find way to go back to East Turkistan was increased quickly. According to eye witness many Chinese viewers were feel sympathy to these girls: “Poor girls, they are very young and it is not easy for them to fit in totally strange environment because they are not Chinese and they don’t speak Chinese except the words: ‘we want go home!’ ” said some of the gathered Chinese viewers. “Most of the Chinese viewers think it should be the freedom of these girls if they want to go home, but government officials finally forced these girls to return to the factory again” Said eye witness.

One of the government officials run toward to the camera and said: “not allowed to take a picture, it is too risky for all of us!”.
