CHINA SHOULD STOP ITS AGGRESSIVE POLICY TO ACHIEVE THE PEACE

According to AP news Dalai Lama rejected the Chinese claim that he is the behind of the turmoil and said that he criticize violence and want autonomy for Tibet only at a press conference Sunday during his visit to Seattle. According to Chinese official media, Chinese prime minster Hu ask Dalai Lama to stop violence and separatism in Tibet as a condition for arrange talks between Dali Lama and Chinese leaders, despite the Dalai’s firmness on autonomy.

Suffer in Tibet is very similar to East Turkistan. Some Tibetan monks committed suicide after the release of the prison. Uyghur intellectuals predict that the unrest in Tibet and East Turkistan cannot be solved by somebody in outside of the country. They believe that If China do not stop its repressive policy, it would not be possible to prevent any kind violent resistance in these regions and said: “recently Chinese government started nation wide mass arrest campaign in East Turkistan and continuously use the context of “terrorism” to justify its repression. If any kind violence exists in East Turkistan by the Uyghur resistance groups it would be caused by China’s aggressiveness. If China wants to peace, they should implement the policy that can satisfy the people in East Turkistan and Tibet, It cannot be achieved by Dalai Lama or the exiled leaders of Uyghurs, even though they were promoting the peace since many years”.
