China Using Soft Tactics to kick out
Uyghur Farmers from their Mother Land
East Turkistan Information Center has learned that
Chinese government recently established working
groups in every villages of East Turkistan to
convince Uyghur peasants to abandon their land.
Working groups door to door visit Uyghur families,
propagandizing Chinese authorities’ package of
promise that attract Uyghur peasants to work in
inner China.
“It is ridiculous that Chinese government having a
demand for Uyghur workers, since there are excess of
huge amounts of unemployed labor force in inner
China” said Mr. Abdujelil Karakash president of East
Turkistan Information Center.
Since East Turkistan villages populated mainly with
Uyghurs and villages are the only places that
survived from Chinese immigrants, many Uyghurs
believe that Scattering Uyghur population and
forcing them to abandon their land were terrible
form of China’s assimilation policy on Uyghurs that
can assured the stability of China’s occupation and
lead Uyghurs to be homeless.
