COURSE TEACHERS HAVE
BEEN ARRESTED IN AQSU
ETIC news: 26 of october 2003 , Chinese authority
arrested underground religious teacher Bilal Qari Haji
in East Turkistan Aqsu city Aykol bazar and arrested
Mehsum Haji and other eight underground religious
teacher who had thought children Kor'an at home .
Mehsum Haji and each of the other six underground
religious teachers has been fined
25000 RMB to 30000 RMB, some of them have been
released . Bilal Qari Haji and his son not have been
released .
Since then, education administration of Aqsu city and
government of Aykol bazar have confiscated each
parent's valuables that values around 2000 RMB to 3000
RMB , who had sent their children evening underground
Kor'an course .authority also have arranged government
workers to sleep those parent's home at night to spy
on school age children .
