8 ) Chinese authorities have withdrawn the works of the Uygur authors from the school text-books 

According to the information received by "EasternTurkestan Information Center", the Chinese authorities began withdrawing samples of the Uygur authors and philosophers from school textbooks and replacing them with works of the Chinese classical and modern works. Besides, the Chinese authorities accepted new rules and principle in the minorities' schools in order to keep them in strict control. The lesson materials prepared by the Uygur teachers are now to be checked thoroughly and systematically, the Uygur teachers will be involved in the political training during vacations. This is surely very strong pressure that the Uygur teachers exert upon. Information from Eastern Turkestan confirms that political pressure exerted upon in the sphere of education is getting stronger. Many talented Uygur teachers are expelled from schools and have to be engaged with small business.
