The 2nd west-east natural gas
transport pipeline project will get trough soon

Chinese state media reported today the 2nd
west-east natural gas transport pipeline project
completed 1,008 km recently. Total km of this pipe
line was 9120 km and Chinese government total
investment on this project was 142 billion Chinese
Yuan.
The is the 1st large pipeline project importing
natural gas from central Asian countries to China.
It is expected to transport 30 billion cubic
meters of natural gas annually, and the whole line
will get through before 2011. After the completion
of this line the imported natural gas can replace
76.8 million tons of coal every year, the report
said. The 2nd west-east natural gas transport
pipeline project is part of China’s expansion
plan, It will increase the China’s economical and
political influence on oil rich neighbor countries
