GENEROUS CHINESE INVESTMENT ON
ELIMINATION OF UYGHUR LINGUISTIC CULTURE

According to Chinese state media, The Xinjiang
Uygur Autonomous Region Development and Planning
Commission released information about investment
on so called bilingual education in East Turkistan
(Xinjiang)and stated that Chinese government
national finance will invest 3,800,000,000 Yuan to
Xinjiang bilingual education.
So called bilingual education in Xinjiang is to
undermine Uyghur linguistic culture, eliminate all
opportunity of Uyghur kids learn their own
language through banning Uyghur schools and
implementing compulsory monolingual Chinese
language education.
It is reported that 2 milyart yuz million Chinese
Yuan of total investment of 3 milyart 800million
Chinese Yuan will use in early education
kindergarten construction in East Turkistan and
other funds will use in the Chinese teachers troop
establishment. Chinese government planned
establish 1237 Chinese language early education
kindergartens in this year and estimated that rate
of Uyghur kids learning Chinese language in
kindergarten as a mother language will rich more
than 85% in 2012.
Although Uyghur parents resisted sending their
kids to Chinese language early education
kindergartens to defend their own language, they
were forced by serious political and economic
pressure.
