Imported Via China's Xinjiang Rises Sharply
URUMQI, Nov 2 Asia Pulse - The import price of crude
oil imported via China's Xingjiang has more than
doubled since January this year, when it was
US$160/ton.
The import price of crude oil has risen month by month
to reach a peak of US$361/ton in September.
China's crude oil imports via Xinjiang have also
increased sharply.
Local Customs' statistics show that China's crude oil
import via Xinjiang port totaled 959,000 tons in the
first nine months, with trade value reaching US$243.88
million, up 2.1 per cent and 45.9 per cent year on
year respectively.
Imports in September alone totaled 175,000 tons, with
trade value reaching US$63.24 million, up 1.2-fold and
3-fold respectively.
