Communist China enforces
its military presence on the border with India
Communist China, which continues
brutal oppression of the people of Eastern Turkistan,
simultaneously strengthens its military presence on
its borders with neighbors. The Chinese government has
always been known for dropping out sweet words of
friendship and cooperation while in actually
developing and implementing the mean plans against its
neighbors.
The Communist China’s rulers built up a military
alliance known as the Shanghai cooperation
organization. Taking advantage of temporary economic
and social problems of Central Asian states China
attempts to preserve its occupation of Eastern
Turkistan. China also established a military alliance
with Pakistan, country adjacent to Eastern Turkistan.
Not only it backed Pakistan with military aid, it also
supplied it with modern technology and equipment.
Pakistan received this aid on one condition – total
refusal from supporting national liberation fighters
of Eastern Turkistan.
The Chinese built up a military airbase in the western
part of Eastern Turkistan. One wonders: against whom?
One who knows history well would easily find a proper
answer. Chinese rulers blame the people of Eastern
Turkistan as “terrorists”, “separatists”, and crack
down on any dissent in a fascist manner. In order to
preserve its imperial ruling in Eastern Turkistan,
China cause a big trouble to India.
As many people know, in the 60s China had several
military border conflicts with India. Until presently
the border Chinese-Indian disputes have not yet been
resolved. In the Kashmir province the situation has
recently seriously aggravated. On the one hand, China
gives full support to Pakistan; on the other hand, it
built up an airbase in the Hotan region, which is
located near the Indian border. Our source in Eastern
Turkistan gives more details on this situation.
The “ Hotan news” Chinese newspaper announced on
January 1,2002 in its editorial that “ the air show to
celebrate the reconstruction the Hotan airport will be
organized on 28 Dec 2001». According to the newspaper,
government officials such as Deputy chairman
Wanggjinxiang, the deputy commander of the air force
the Lanzhou military region Fengjingchuen and other
high rank commanders participated. Wang gave a speech:
“The airbase in Hotan will reconstrcut3ed and its
territory will be enlarged. This is a contribution to
the development of economy and improving the national
security.” So one can draw a right conclusion from
such statements. The high ranking Chinese official has
made clear the Chinese plans. According to other
reliable sources from the Homeland, the airplanes are
patrolling the air in Eastern Turkistan in
Hotan-Kashgar area, as of today (2002/2/6-7).
Despite any military actions that the Chinese
government undertake to strengthen its fascist
oppression of the Eastern Turkistan people, the will
and desire of Uyghurs for liberation will not weaken
in any way.
