According to the news from our correspondent Uchqun from
Urumchi:
In 8th of February in Urumchi was held the meeting of
Chinese police authorities on starting of the second
phase of “Hard Strike” campaign. The completion report
of the first stage of the “Hard Strike” campaign was
discussed during the meeting, according to this report
some people such as Abbas, Emet Qasim, Muhtar were
established political party and they were executed
during the first phase of “Hard Strike” campaign last
year. In this report it also was mentioned that during
this campaign 48 places of confidential religious
activities and political meetings were found and more
than 1200 political and religious books had been
confiscated.
At the end of the meeting, during the interview with the
correspondent of the “Youth’s newspaper” Do Jian Ti, the
Deputy of the Chairman of the Committee of Society’s
Safety Control of Uighur Autonomic Region said the
following: “first phase of the “Hard Strike” campaign is
going to its end, second phase of this campaign is
already began and it will continue till July of this
year, the main target of this phase will be religious
extremists, the heads of the national separatists’ and
falungongs”.
A lot of people are aware, that Chinese authorities
commenced “Hard Strike” campaign against Uighurs’
Freedom movement in Eastern Turkestan in July of the
last year. From the beginning of this campaign up today,
several thousand Uighurs had been arrested more than 50
people sentenced to death and more than 6000 thousand
people sentenced to the different terms of imprisonment.
Now they are going to start another phase of this
campaign, it means that till August of this year, a lot
of innocent Uighurs are going to be arrested and to
suffer in Chinese prisons! |
