6 ) 213 religious clerics - participants of the “Re-education course” in Urumchi city returned home

Our correspondent Uchgun reports from Urumchi city.

213 religious clerics who participated at the “Re-education courses for patriotic religious clerics” in Urumchi city returned their homes on March 29. At the meeting dedicated to the these training courses the state official of the Uyghur Autonomous region Zhong Yujong delivered a speech where he demanded from imams to preach at mosques and everywhere else the “patriotic ideas”, to urge their parish members to stand against ‘ethnic nationalist separatists”, to “approve policies of the Chinese government and party”, to “disseminate ideology among the masses», and to criticize strongly the ideas of national separatism.

According to our sources, these “re-education courses” will be organized in every region and regional center. All imams of all mosques in Uyghur Autonomous region will have to participate in “re-education of patriotic religious clerics” activities.
