Double Standard Loan Policy

 Chinese
media reported in February 14 that, government
institution loan given to the poverty strike areas
in north East Turkistan which heavily populated
with Uyghurs is over one hundred billion in this
year. But they did not mention the extreme poverty
of poor Uyghur farmers that in heavy debt, because
of high interest rate and how they forced by the
government workers to take a loan for high
agricultural operational costs that designed by
the government. On the other side, Chinese farmers
and solders are benefitted from interest relief or
full subsidies when they apply for the loan
between 20,000 Yuan and 50,000 Yuan, if they would
like to open small business. This indicates that
Chinese government fully supporting non- farm
activities of Chinese farmers but not the Uyghur
farmers. Chinese media report said that 150
million Yuan distributed to over 7400 personal
with no interests to support their small business.
