Government awards: draw in mothers to kill their own babies

2009-01-07

According to so called Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region government press, Chinese government total investment on birth control issues in East Turkistan reached 3 billion 810 million Chinese Yuan in 2008. One billion 400 million Chinese Yuan of these total investment was invested by Beijing and rest of them was invested by regional government. Report said that all of this investment was used as an award for the poor families who agreed to keep only one child.

Party secretary of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region Wanglechuan stressed last yer in his speech that they should strictly control the population increase in South Xinjiang that Uyghurs are heavily populated areas.

It is obvious that investment of Chinese government mainly target Uyghur families. Uyghur population devastated under economic pressure of the Chinese government and forced to kill their own babies to get government financial awards.

Head of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region population control committee Abdurehim Abdulla said “ almost all of those investment were used to attract families to strictly follow birth control and keep only one child, As a result one million 247 thousand family already got one child award”

Although Chinese government allow each Uyghur family in cities to having two child and three child in countryside, economic pressure attracted more and more Uyghur mothers to aborted their own babies or ban their productivity.
