East Turkistan natural gas feeding
more than 300,000 Chinese cities

According to Chinese state media, Xinjiang
production crude oil 27million 400 thousand tons,
increased 1,000,000 tons compared to the last year
and surpassed Shandong Province of China, became
the Chinese second big crude oil production area.
From 1997 to 2007 crude oil of East Turkistan
maintained 11 years third big crude oil production
compared to the Chinese oil production areas. In
2007 East Turkistan oil and natural gas production
surpassed Chinese biggest oil production province
Heilongjiang and became biggest oil gas production
area.
East Turkistan oil gas resources is extremely
rich, total resources of oil is 20 billion 900
million tons, total resource of natural gas is
10,800,000,000,000 cubic meter.
Chinese state media reported that presently
Transportation of natural gas from East Trukistan
to Chinese cities through gas pipeline is more
than 46 million cubic meters and providing 300,000
thousand Chinese cities with clean gas.
