historical and cultural books in Hoten
According our information from east Turkistan , after
the burning books action in Kashkar city , Chinese
authorities urgently extensive their ideological
cleansing to the Hoten city .
after a meeting in Hoten City, Chira county, from June
4 to June 6 that “brought the campaign in the
ideological front against the ethnic separatism to the
national cultural area”, Chinese police started to
search Uighur homes and to seize books .
Not only collecting “Uighur ancient literature,”
“Brief history of the Huns,” “Ancient Uighur
Craftsmanship” also they collected Famous Uyghur
historian Turgun Almas’s three books about Uighur
history and “woke up land” which written by famous
Uighur novel writer Abdurehim Otkur. The cassette Gift
by the famous Uighur singer Omerjan Alim. “ Oh! How
difficult be a peasant” by the famous Uighur poet Rozi
Sayit.
