The Plan of Disseminating Uyghurs in the city of Qumul

Our Information Center received reports the recent decisions of the Chinese authorities to move the Uyghur inhabitants from the old city of Qumul to various districts of the city against their will. The Chinese local officials were already pursuing this policy since March when many Uyghurs were forced to leave their houses. Surely, great discontent arose among the Uyghur dwellers that protested and tried to make authorities refuse their plans. However, the local Chinese authorities employed the police troops who dragged the Uyghurs into trucks and shouted, “Long live the Communist party!» According to reports, around 100 protesters were arrested temporarily and interrogated at police stations.
Our compatriots from Homeland informed us that the Chinese regime have led the policy of intentional dissemination and forced moving out of Uyghurs from the center of Qumul city to various city outskirts in order to clean the place for the ethnic Chinese settlers and migrants from inner China.
