Chinese Government
Strengthens its Presence in Eastern Turkistan
Chinese Communist regime has strengthened considerably
its presence in Eastern Turkistan over last 10 years.
Presently the overall number of the military personnel
in Eastern Turkistan is over 1 million people. Every
year the retired soldiers who were recruited from
inner parts of China do not return. These reservists
rather stay in Eastern Turkistan work in the military
construction unit in Eastern Turkistan. The total
number of such reservists, present army personnel and
police troops exceeds actually 2 million 300 thousand
people.
What is more, the Chinese regime labeled the local
people as “ Uyghur and Muslim terrorists” and on the
pretext of September 11 events they brought to
Turkistan air force troops. They build and/or
reconstructed 8 airbases in various places. What are
the real objectives of the Chinese government? Are
they really into the fight against the “Muslim
terrorists”? The answer is no. It is obvious to anyone
who has some knowledge of the history of Eastern
Turkistan-Chinese relations that the real purpose is
fascist oppression and exploitation.
The Chinese regime has done everything possible to
preserve its fascist occupation of Eastern Turkistan.
They always stood with the well-equipped and
well-trained army against its slaves in Eastern
Turkistan.
The Chinese rulers do their best to disguise its
fascist ruling as the decent fight against terrorism.
They use an international struggle under the
leadership of the USA against the terrorism as an
excuse to link the Uyghur fighters for national
liberation with Osama bin Laden and the Taliban. The
Chinese government has intensified recently its harsh
measures against the Uyghur liberation movement
activities, its policy of “strong attack” launched in
1996? Policy of ethnic cleansing and oppression of all
dissidents and decent believers.
The Eastern Turkistan people protest actively against
the fascist totalitarian oppression and dictatorship.
The Chinese government aims at several goals when it
deploys its numbered troops in Eastern Turkistan.
After the break-up of the Soviet Union the Russian
influence in Central Asia subsequently weakened.
The Chinese government grew concerned about possible
backup to Uyghurs from their Turkic brethren – Uzbeks,
Kazakhs, Kirghiz etc. The so-called “Shanghai
Cooperation Organization” was established with a
formal objective of fighting terrorism, and with a
true plan dividing Turkic peoples and intensifying
oppression of Uyghurs.
Over 7 million Uyghurs suffer oppression, persecutions,
arresting and punishment before the whole world
community. The Chinese government, army and police
will ultimately fail in suppressing the will of the
Uyghur people for liberation, self-determination and
independence!
Long live the national independence!
